Resetting Your Password
Locked out? You can reset your password yourself in about a minute — no need to contact support.
How to reset your password
- 1. On the sign-in page, click Forgot password? next to the password field.
- 2. Enter the email address for your account and click Send reset link.
- 3. Open the email from Carpe Inventory IQ and click Reset password.
- 4.Choose a new password (at least 8 characters), confirm it, and you’ll be sent back to sign in.
For your security, the reset link expires one hourafter it’s sent and can only be used once. If yours has expired, just request a new one.
Didn’t get the email?
- • Check your spam or junk folder.
- • Make sure you entered the same email address you use to sign in.
- • Give it a couple of minutes, then request another link — the newest link is always the one that works.
For your privacy, the confirmation screen looks the same whether or not an account exists for that email — so an outsider can’t use it to discover who has an account. If you never receive a link, double-check the address is the one you signed up with.
Is this safe?
Yes. Requesting a reset never changes your password on its own — nothing changes until you click the link in the email and set a new one. If you receive a reset email you didn’t ask for, you can safely ignore it and your existing password keeps working. Each link works only once, and only for a short window.
